What would YOU expect your state nurse anesthesia association to do when you were the key witnesses in a Federal Lawsuit involving Medicare Fraud by Anesthesiologists ?

15 CRNAs that stepped forward to fight injustice and signed an agreement with their state association, have been waiting for over 6 years and had to sue to get the Minnesota Association of Nurse Anesthetists to compensate them for lost wages.

Some of these CRNA "whistle blowers" were ostracized by their peers and forced to relocate or retire because they could not find work once their involvement in the lawsuit became public knowledge.

To put this into perspective the lawsuit began in the early 1990s and was settled in 2003 and most continue to wait for their lost wages. One of the defendants children, a senior in high school when the legal proceedings began, was one of the lawyers in attendance when the judge ruled in favor of the CRNAs.
